Echo docs
Echo is a market maker for your own trading wallet. You buy a coin, Echo's wallets buy and sell it after you, so your entry gets volume and many makers on the chart. It trades sideways: about as much selling as buying.
Start
- Connect your wallet on the app page (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack). Signing in is a free signature; nothing is sent.
- Fund your Echo wallet. Echo makes one for you; send it the SOL the market maker may trade with.
- Set it up and save: budget, wallets, trade size, speed, duration, stop-loss.
- Buy a coin with your wallet anywhere. With Follow my buys on, a session starts on that coin by itself. You can also paste a contract address and press Start.
A session
The budget moves from your Echo wallet to its trading wallets. Every few seconds one of them either buys a size in your range or sells the bag it holds. When the time is up, the stop-loss is hit, you sell the coin, or you press Stop, every bag is sold and the SOL goes back to your Echo wallet.
Stop-loss
The stop-loss is the most the market maker may lose in a session. Before every trade it adds up what it is down so far (SOL in, minus SOL out, minus what its bags are worth now) and what the next trade will cost in fees. If that would go over your stop-loss, it stops and sells out. Set 0.5 SOL and it stops before losing more than 0.5 SOL.
Costs
Each round trip pays the pool's trading fee both ways plus network fees. That cost is the price of the volume, and the stop-loss caps it.
Your funds
Your Echo wallet and its trading wallets are made for you. Their keys are stored encrypted on Echo's server. Withdraws go only to the wallet you signed in with.
Try it first
The chart on the home page runs the same market maker on paper on a live coin: press Buy, watch the volume, change the settings, press Restart.
